Pivotal homes does the plumbing works

Work has now begun on our investment property, I was concerned that nothing was happening, but on Friday I received an email to say the plumbing work was done.

I just wanted to put in writing for you that the following has now been completed on your property:

  • Your retaining wall has been completed
  • Site has been fully set out
  • Piers have been completed
  • Under slab drainage has been completed
  • Slab preparation has been completed (steel, waffle pods etc)

The last thing we need to do is pour the slab which is a fast process, and Steffen anticipates that it will be done early next week. Photos will then be taken and uploaded into your photo gallery on the Pivotal Homes website, at which point I’ll e-mail you a username and password so you can view them.

Let me know if you have any queries.

Thankyou,

Kind Regards,

Pivotal Homes receives the building deposit

At last Pivotal Homes has received our deposit and the building can begin!

As per my below e-mail just sent to the relevant Pivotal staff, we have now received your deposit payment from Westpac!

We’ll be going to site on your property this week, starting with earthworks, drains and underground plumbing, piers, then slab preparation and finally the pouring of the slab. Weather permitting, this process only takes a few of weeks but if we experience rain in Brisbane, it does slow things down. I’m not sure if your block has a retaining wall on it, but if it does, the retaining wall will also add some time to the completion of the slab.

As soon as the slab is completed, I will contact you and get yourself and Rebecca to sign one of the Westpac progress payment authority forms and send it into me so that I’m able to claim slab payment from Westpac. The bank will always get a valuer to do an inspection of the block to check we’ve completed the work properly before releasing the money to us.

Our professional photographer will also photograph the slab and upload the pictures into your own personal photo gallery on the Pivotal Homes website. I will e-mail you a username & password as soon as those photos are available online, and you’ll be able to log in and view the progress of construction online. New photos are uploaded at the completion of every stage construction.
